  1. Internship at ETRI

    Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute
    I conducted an internship at Tangible Creative Interface Laboratory in ETRI during winter vacation. I made a program using WPF (UI Framework developed by Microsoft) for controlling some hardwares.

Classifying Body Parts and Hand Gestures Via Smartwatch Touchscreen

I published my first paper in KSC 2024.

  • I customized an Android Operating System of my smartwatch, and was able to get raw capacitive touch data.
  • Using raw touch data, I built a CNN Model classifying body parts & hand gestures, like palm of hand, finger of hand, mouth, ear, and so on.
Improved Hand Interfaces

Hand Interfaces is a novel interaction methodology that let users imitate objects using Hand Tracking of Oculus Quest. However, due to the limitation of Hand Tracking, Hand Interfaces also has poor recognization. So I try to improve this methodology using my Smartwatch. I developed it using Unity.
VR Slap: Virtual Reality Game with Haptics

I made a VR Game inspired by Rose and Camellia of NIGORO. If a user slap the enemy in the face, user’s hand can have a feeling of hitting. On the contrary, if user was slapped by the enemy, user’s face can have a feeling of being hit.
Zombie Throwdown: Game with ATISS Model

I conducted a project with my teammates using ATISS, a Generative Model making Rooms. I learned about Deep Learning & Generative AI, and Behavior Tree of Unreal Engine. It was developed by Unreal Engine 5.1.1.
Prize Award in Kyunghee Software Hackatone

I made a program using Unreal Engine 5.2.1 with my teammates, and win the prize award in 2023 Kyunghee Software Hackatone. The theme of the hackatone was Informatization of Education, and we made Digital Art Museum.
